After some consideration, it has become apparent to me that I don’t have the time needed to play Meg.
It’s not fair to y’all for me to keep this character. I just can’t do it.
I’m not going to delete this account yet. I’ll probably give it 24 hours or so, enough time for this to be seen.
I love y’all to death, and will miss this group.
Go to http://atthecrossroadsrp.tumblr.com/ask and say which character you would like to reserve. If you want a new character that is open, feel free to reserve one of those instead. Only reserve one character for now, OC are closed for now.
Thanks guys, sorry for the trouble!
Just kidding. No Huns to defeat, sadly. There is, however, business to address.
As most of you probably know by now, Sharona, Misha, Bobby, Jo, Adam and Ed left us today. Mostly due to timezone and schedule issues, they’ve moved on to things that better suit their lives, and we’ll miss them a lot. We wish them luck in everything they do, and hope they have better luck somewhere else, where people will be lucky to have them! Thank you for the amazing experience, all of you.
Seeing as Sharona and Misha—two of our three administrators—have gone, the reigns have been passed to the obvious third: our lovely Balthazar, my brother. As his sister and someone who has seen all the past sites he’s been a part of, I can vouch for his ability and experience in becoming our new administrator. To help carry the load he’s added Alastair and I as moderators. I’m sure Alastair is more than capable, and I hope you’ll have the same faith in me! :)
A new home for this amazing RP is in the works now, at ‘At The Crossroads’ (yet to be completed so don’t worry if it’s blank). A page for taken characters, rules, past plots and other things will be posted on this account similarly to The Road So Far, and of course the askbox will be left open for questions and suggestions! We love to hear from you all on what you think, as always. <3
We all know that “crack” and “roleplay seriousness” has been a bit of an apparent problem in the past, so I’ll just address it now. Occasional OOCness isn’t anything to get worried or stressed over. Roleplaying is about the fun, first and foremost. That being said, part of the fun is staying in character, right? You chose your respective roles for a reason—you adore them. You fell in love with the character on the show, so you want a chance to be them for a bit. That’s why we’re all here—we get that, and we get each other. We all want to explore the “what if”s of Supernatural’s world, so taking initiative and challenging the boundaries of your character (or characters) is completely encouraged, let’s just keep it in the spirit of what your characters act like in canon, hm? And if you really prefer a sillier, more stereotypically “cracky” style, then you’re welcome to take a sillier character in the SPN world! There are plenty of them just waiting to be used—the Ghostfacers, for instance. ;)
Another small change is that, for the time being, we’re closing OC applications. OCs that already exist are of course welcome to stay, but for now the staff’s agreed that we should get our ducks in a row before we consider opening OC applications again. I hope this doesn’t provide any inconvenience for anyone, and remember, there’s plenty of canon characters still open!
As for the “creating new accounts or not” issue people have been wondering about, any fresh start you want to give yourselves are optional. If you want a crisper, blank account, feel free to create a new URL and update us. If you’d prefer to stick with your original, memory-filled accounts (I am personally), then that’s great too. In fact, if you choose to stick with your current accounts and want to, now would be a great time to spiff them up a bit! Delete old OOC posts, change your theme, update your headcanons… whatever makes you feel comfortable and ready for action!
If there are any more questions or concerns, please send us a message. You might not be the only one wondering! We really want to make this a smooth, positive transition so we can keep moving forward better than ever. I love you all! <3

Stay tuned for the link, and more information. Thanks for your patience :)
I am not forever gone, just fyi. I am going to make a new RP group that will make it easier for me to interact with all of you, and everyone else that lives in sucky timezones. My thoughts are currently lingering on a forum, but those things always die.
If you wish to know what I will do DO NOT UNFOLLOW THIS ACCOUNT! Because seriously you’re all going to be more than welcome in whatever I make and wherever it’s gonna be made. You’re all my friends and I love you and I don’t wish to exclude you from anything.
So, stay tuned!
Keep following my Castiel account if you’re interested!
I don’t have time for it. This doesn’t mean you have to stop. You can just, like, create your own headquarters if you wish to continue. But with my timezone it’s impossible and things are pretty dead anyway.
If you know a place where timezones won’t be a hindrance, please, share it. I’ll be very much open to making something new if I’m sure it’ll work.
Posting this now because I probably won’t be here much longer.

I think we should all buckle down and get serious. Or at least try to. If it weren’t for Cas, none of us would be here today and we owe her this. We should, from here on out, try to really limit the oocness that we have and really look at The Road So Far’s page and see what the story line is. I mean, we’ve got all the great new characters we’re sorta just like, y’know, hanging out while they’re wanting some action.
I would actually really appreciate it if this happened. I mean I seriously cannot force any of you to do anything. But if you don’t like to RP “seriously”, can you ask yourself the question if this is really a RP you should be a part of? Because that’s been my intention from the start. Just have a nice RP based on the show and try to stay as close to the show as possible. I mean you’re always gonna go off track but sometimes it doesn’t even really feel Supernatural anymore and just like a bunch of people thrown into one place.
It’s perfectly fine if we have a day of quietness sometimes. I mean, it sucks, I like activity, and so do all of you. But I’d rather have it dead for a day than a day full of stuff that makes me go “what the fuck is this”.
I think it would really help if we could have some sort of set plot; the way it was in the beginning, how everyone was trying to look for Cas’ grace and we had a set plan of who would post when and what would happen in what way. I love everyone here, I really do, but there are a lot of characters that aren’t very active and I understand (life, school, work, whatever it is that’s got you out,) and that’s okay. But there are some that don’t sign on anymore.
And I think we should figure out who’s really here and how we can incorporate them into whatever storyline we’re going for. Like, for example, Rachael. I’m not sure if there’s anything planned for her or not, but I feel like she should be included in some of the things we do. And a few other characters, too.
There’s chaos because we’re all over the place and, I know I’m at fault for this, we’re making our own storylines that could possibly affect the entire direction of the group.
I don’t know if this even makes sense. It made sense in my head.
I keep saying I am open for new plots. As long as they get directed at me first. I mean I’m 100% sure your idea is great, if you have one. But it helps to have another person run over it one more time for you, and maybe I can add stuff to it that you like. And if you don’t like it you can always tell me.
I never turn down plots. Ever. Unless it’s so ridiculous and OOC that I really need to but even then I just try to iron out the rough edges so that it can still be done. I’m not being hypocritical, either. I run most of my ideas by Misha or Jess or whoever I happen to talk to at that moment just to be sure it’s a good idea.
Additionally, it’s best because then we can set the plots in a straight line and have it done one by one rather than have a huge chaos of plots. Unless of course it’s not that huge of a deal and we can do it as a side-plot to whatever’s currently going on. I’m just saying. I like organisation and structure a bit too much. But you can’t say it doesn’t work. As soon as I pick up my broom and get busy for this RP, things turn out rather decently.
There’s some things listed if you scroll to the bottom. Some got wrapped up already but if you take a look at this and use it or have anything to add to it, seriously, tell me. Even if you think it’s ridiculous we can probably work it all out somehow.
Reblogging this just to make sure that everyone sees what Cas here is saying. Because really, you guys. If we can’t do this for her, then well shit. I’ve seen some pretty messed up crack!RP’s and honestly, I don’t want us to fall into that category.
Sure, crack!RP’s are fun, but this just isn’t the place for it. We came here to be serious roleplayers about Supernatural. Let’s continue to do that, okay? Not just for Cas, but for ourselves. For the group. I look at all of you as family because I’ve known most of you for months now. And I don’t want this group to go anywhere but up.
And this ‘clean-up’ process doesn’t just fall on Cas or one certain member, it falls on all of us because we’re a group. We’re a team. So I say we all grab our brooms and start doing our part in cleaning up.
